What is it?
The Professional Employment Organisation “PEO” employs contractors in the same way umbrella does however unlike umbrella you will be provided with a gross pay rate rather than a contract rate and also a payslip without the need for a remittance to breakdown your contract rate to gross pay calculation.
What are the benefits?
In the same way as umbrella you will receive full employment rights and Bright Sky will be responsible for deducting reporting and paying across all relevant taxes to HMRC. There will be no unexpected tax bills and you will have the flexibility to move assignments and continue with the same PEO employer.
This can also be a benefit to those contracts which fall within IR35 and a PAYE engagement if required.
How does it work?
Once registered Bright Sky will ensure your hours are received and processed to provide payment to your bank on Friday each week (if on a weekly cycle). You will receive a payslip by email and have access to this on an online portal as well as a text confirming the net funds which will be clearing in your account.
